Job summary
We are looking for a full time Dietitian Assistant Practitioner to work with a keen interest in nutrition and health and a willingness to learn.
You will have a foundation degree or equivalent in nutrition or dietetics and it would be an advantage to have experience in nutrition or healthcare.
You should have good communication and organisational skills, an ability to work effectively as a member of the dietetic team and the ability to demonstrate you can work without direct supervision.

Main duties of the job
You will contribute to providing a dietetic service to inpatients by collecting medical and nutritional information for patients newly referred to the dietetic service and implementing nutritional care plans for patients who have already been assessed by the dietitian.
You will be working under the supervision of the dietitian as well as working closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Your role will involve delivering patient education sessions and training to other healthcare professionals.
