Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to develop and support Integration and clinical application solutions within the trust. The successful post holder will be act as a developer within the clinical application team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will develop solutions within the technology stack within the integration and the clinical applications team. The technologies will include SQL, CCL, Javascript, CSS, HTML. The post holder will work within a team and mentored to by senior developers in providing clinical solutions enabling patient care.

The successful applicant should have a good understanding of the strategic aims and objectives of the healthcare system through the Long-Term Plan, especially related to the digital agenda.

The development and integration team supports the development and maintenance of inhouse systems and interfaces between the Trusts core clinical EPR (Cerner Millennium) and other 3rd party solutions. This role will be part of a very important team to deliver the Trusts clinical and associated digital strategies. The role offers the opportunity to work remotely and flexibly if preferred.

  • Degree in IT or equivalent knowledge gained through development experience

Desirable

  • Cerner Millennium Development experience

  • Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, C# and web technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle PLSQL
  • Specialist in prototype Javascript, its concept and usage
