Clinical Academic Link Tutor for Faculty of Research and Clinical Education

Are you keen to join a multi-disciplinary team providing support within the clinical areas to staff and students in pre-registration education to develop evidenced based care and advocating research practice? The Faculty of Research and Clinical Education at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust are looking to recruit a Clinical Academic Link tutor to support our students. This exciting role will work in partnership with Wolverhampton University.PLEASE NOTE, WE MAY CLOSE THIS VACANCY EARLY IF WE RECEIVE HIGH NUMBERS OF APPLICATIONS.

Main duties of the job

The primary purpose of the role will be to facilitate and promote nursing and clinical practice standards within the divisions and across the trust to assure the quality of placement learning provision for students studying at the University of Wolverhampton is in accordance with professional body requirements. Successful candidates will be based 50% in clinical practice (WHT) and 50% in university, ensuring good partnership working and collaboration, whilst bridging the theory practice gap.
