Job summary

An exciting opportunity for two Fixed Term (6 months) Part Time (26.25 hours) has arisen to work as part of the audiology team providing routine assessment of adults and school age children referredto the Audiology department at Walsall Manor Hospital.

This will include patients referred directly to audiology via their G.P. or for patientsattending ENT outpatient clinics.

Thispost involves fitting hearing aids and supporting patients in their use as part of their rehabilitation.

The post holder will be expected to provideservices within the hospital, at outreach clinics and in patients' homes when required.

Main duties of the job

Undertake routine clinical caseloads in Adult Audiology without supervision, at Walsall Manor Hospital and at outreach clinics.This will include providing Audiology cover for ENT clinics and a full hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting service, to include hearingassessments, reassessments, fittings, reviews and repairs of NHS hearing aids
