The role is part of our Inclusion pathway within the Healthy Child Programme Service 0-19 which incorporates Health Visiting, School Nursing and Teenage Pregnancy Services. Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of a School Nursing team which is led by a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN -SN). The role will play a key part in delivering the Health Child Programme (HCP 5-19) to children and young people with alternative provision schools, other educational setting or those who are home educated. This includes holding and managing your own caseload, contributing to the development and delivery of health education programmes and staff training and working as part of wider multi-disciplinary and agency teams to prevent ill health, promote health & wellbeing, provide early intervention and safeguard children and young people.
