Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Specialist Pharmacy Assistant -Dispensary Services within the Pharmacy Department at Walsall Healthcare Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our diverse team. Self-motivated and flexible, you must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, accuracy and communication skills to deliver a high -quality patient focused pharmacy service. You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and with the existing team.
You will work as part of our dispensary team, delivering a high-quality dispensary service to a multitude of areas throughout the trust.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual who is looking to work within the dispensary and has a keen eye for detail, is a good communicator, is flexible in their approach and enjoys working as part of a team.
You will be expected to work to deadlines. Training for this specialist role will be provided and we will be supporting the successful applicant in achieving the Accuracy Checking for Dispensing Assistants qualification.
You must be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm supporting innovation and delivering an excellent patient experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the Specialist Pharmacy Technician -Dispensary Services by pro-actively co-ordinating and managing the flow of work through Dispensary Services throughout the day to ensure an efficient and safe pharmacy service to patients and staff.
