Job summary
The post holder will support the Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants in the Outpatients Clinics and treat patients under local and general anaesthesia.
The proposed job plan is to work all day Monday & Friday in OPD but is negotiable. The post is based on 4.5 Programmed Activities (PAs) per week

- Provision of high-quality healthcare to Oral and Maxillofacial surgical patients (consultation and treatment).
- Maintain good communication with all Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants.
- Part takes in training and development of Junior Trainees and Nursing Staff.
- Participation in the Audit activity of the department and clinical governance meetings as appropriate.
About us
The Trust is looking to appoint a Speciality Doctor within the department of Oral & Maxillofacial.
This is a substantive post.
The successful candidate must possess basic joint degree. Full GDC Registration with a Licence to Practice, Adult Life support and have completed Foundation Year 2 training or equivalent and be Ability to demonstrate relevant DCT experience and qualifications to undertake the required duties.
