Job summary

Do you want to be apart of a caring and friendly team, where you'll recieve support and further training? Walsall NHS Trust Critical Care Unit have an excellent opportunity for a staff nurse to join our dedicated team.

We're a busy 16 bedded intensive care unit that delivers care to all patients in Walsall and the surrounding areas.

The job will entail working as part of a well established hard working team who always put the safety of their patients first.

Main duties of the job

The Band 5 Staff Nurse post offers registered nurses the opportunity to gain experience and develop competencies within critical care.To be considered for the posts applicants must be registered nurses with at least 6 months post registration experience. Possession of the BSC Nursing Studies (Critical Care) or equivalent (ENB 100) would be an advantage. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate involvement in staff education and mentorship and must be able to provide evidence of contributions to developments in care.Appointees will be expected to work during day, night and weekend shifts as part of an internal shift rotation pattern.
