Job summary

Digital Services at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust are delivering a programme of works known as Frontline Digitisation. This includes a number of projects going live over a two year period. To aid this work we are looking for two IT Trainers on a temporary basis until March 2025.

You will work within the IT Training department and liaise with our Business Change team and other workstreams.

A flexible approach is essential due to the nature of the setting and at floorwalking stages will need to be available at various times of the day.

Main duties of the job

As well as training face to face and providing floorwalking support, it is expected that you will be involved in developing and maintaining training materials in line with the standards of the department and the learning needs of staff.

Experience of a PAS system in an NHS setting is beneficial with a good level of IT skills. Training will be provided on other new systems or functionality. This position would ideally suit a trainer who wanted to gain more experience of a range of systems within the NHS and project implementations.

The role is in person throughout the Acute hospital and at times within our Community based services.
