Job summary
We currently have a Band 6 permanent vacancy for experienced Registered staff with Emergency Department or Emergency medicine experience.
The successful applicant should have 4 years post registration with 2 years experience in ED, good communication skills and enjoy working in a changeable and challenging environment.
Main duties of the job
You will join a motivated team of Band 7 and Band 6 staff who work as part of a team but also are able to use their own initiative managing the department on a daily basis as well as being part of a team managing the teams of dedicated Registered staff and Healthcare Assistants.
Opportunities exist to develop personal practice and gain further experience in all aspects of emergency care and advanced practice, supported by the departments dedicated Clinical Practice Educators.
