Health Records - Library Scanning Clerk - Days
We have a permanent position based on full time hours in the Health Records Department situated on the Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust site.
The position involves working within in a dynamic environment. You will be required to undertake such tasks as pulling, chasing and prepping notes for clinics, dealing with specific requests for notes including audits. Prepping and scanning of paper records as we moved towards a digital paperlite future.
You will work on a rota covering one of six desks on a weekly basis and covering the courier route as and when required, you will also use trolleys to retrieve and deliver notes throughout the Trust.
You will need to have highly developed organisational, communication and computer skills. Knowledge of PAS would be an advantage however training will be given. The position is within a well-established team and the ability to work as a team is essential.

Salary : £20,270 - £21,318 Per Annum
Main duties of the job
The Health Records Department are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our busy and dedicated team.
The post will be based in the Health Records building situated on the Dorset County Hospital site.
The position involves various clerical tasks including pulling, chasing and prepping notes for clinics.
Prepping and scanning of notes for the Trust Digital Patient Records System (DPR), ensuring high quality attention to detail across all aspects of Health Record processes.
Specific requests for notes including audits and taking notes back to file.
You will work on a rota covering one of six desks on a weekly basis and covering the courier route as and when required, you will also use trolleys to go out into the hospital retrieving and delivering notes.
You will need to have highly developed organisational, communication and computer skills. Knowledge of PAS would be an advantage however training will be given. The position is within a well-established team and the ability to work as a team is essential.
You will come into contact with all areas of the hospital.
