An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic innovator of E-Learning technology to join the Education, Learning, and Development team, to collaborate with subject leads to design and develop E-Learning resources, enhancing the digital learning experience of the staff at Dorset County Hospital.

- with a proven experience in authoring engaging and interactive content online using Articulate or other eLearning development tools.

Main duties of the job
Working under the direction of the Corporate and Mandatory Training Manager and the learning and development team, the eLearning and digital learning co-ordinator will develop learning and development materials including e-learning packages for the trust.
The successful candidate will work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and trust colleagues to ensure effective, development, implementation and utilisation of e-learning and other resources.
The post holder will ensure that learning interventions have a positive impact on service delivery and patient care, and that the trust maintains compliance with statutory, mandatory and regulatory requirements.

Design, create and publish eLearning content as directed by the corporate and mandatory training manager, using authoring tools such as Articulate, Powtoon and other multi-media tools.

Manage the deployment maintenance and evaluation to enhance teaching and the learning experience across the Trust.

Integrate externally available learning activities into the LMS, such as content from eLearning for Healthcare and other third-party vendors.

To provide technical advice for eLearning across the trust.

Collate and develop resources (text, graphics, info graphics, video and audio) to provide users with a rich and engaging interactive multi media learning experience, including supporting the education team in the production of video content for use internally as required.

Maintaining the existing eLearning provision, updating modules as and when required.

Ensure new content is rigorously alpha and beta tested and make any appropriate amendments/corrections.

Evaluate finished product and conduct regular reviews to ensure relevance and its mapping to the core standard training framework.
