Job summary
Digital Portfolio Analyst
Applications are invited for the post of Digital Portfolio Analyst, Band 7, working in the Digital Portfolio Team. This is a full time permanent post to support the Digital Portfolio Manager by managing the Digital Portfolio and its constituent projects including planning, supporting, facilitating, and monitoring progress of the programme. And to act as deputy Digital Portfolio Manager as required.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied and fast paced role to provide programme assurance and analysis to ensure continual business justification for the projects within the programme and that they are fit for purpose. Ensuring that the portfolio is focused on delivering the Trust's strategic objectives and expected benefits ensuring continual service improvement.

Education, Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Degree or equivalent qualifications and specialist training to Masters degree or equivalent plus relevant specialist knowledge, backed up by practical experience in a programme environment
- Prince2 practitioner or equivalent practical experience
Desirable
- Relevant qualifications or study e.g., Agile, ITIL etc including programme management
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience working in the NHS or health sector in a programme related capacity.
- Experience of fulfilling a coordination role within a multi-agency programme
- Experience of assuring service design in a programme environment
- Experience of benefits identification and benefits management in a programme environment
- Experience of managing major clinical or business change in a programme environment
- Experience of managing a substantial team of staff
- Experience of assuring project and programme budgets
- Experience of assuring project and programme resource plans
- Experience of issuing and analysing complex data including reports, audits, and surveys
Desirable
- Working knowledge of IT industry
