We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and committed Clinical Pharmacists to join our Clinical Pharmacy team. You will work alongside the Advanced Pharmacists for Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Older Persons/Frailty, and Renal Services, the Medicine Management Technicians and the wider Pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to provide medicines management for in and out-patients.
Clinical pharmacy services to Medicine include a service to the Acute Medical Admissions unit, Acute Hospital at Home and a Medical Day Unit. Surgery covers a broad range of specialties and both emergency and elective procedures. Renal services provide care to patients from across Dorset and South Somerset and include the Acute Renal Admission Ward. The on-site regional dialysis unit also oversees care of patients on home peritoneal dialysis.

The hospital is a friendly working environment within walking distance of Dorchester's historic centre. Dorchester has a vibrant social scene including the new Brewery Square development, shops, restaurants, cinemas, festivals and local farmers markets. Key activities of the post holders will include
- Management and review of in-patients requiring acute care across medicine, surgery and renal services
- Development and review of guidelines to improve patient management and transfer of care between care providers
