Job summary

Are you an inclusive and strategic leader who believes everyone deserves to thrive at work? We're looking for a Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to join our team at Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a pivotal opportunity to lead our EDI agenda and shape how inclusion is lived, seen and felt across the Trust. You'll be our in-house expert and champion for equality and belonging, working closely with the Chief People Officer, the wider people team and colleagues right across the Trust. Together, you'll ensure our culture truly reflects the diverse communities we serve and that every colleague feels valued, respected and empowered.

Main duties of the job

  • Delivery of the Trust's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, driving measurable improvements in staff experience and representation.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on equality, human rights and inclusion.
  • Oversee key workforce equality standards (WRES, WDES, Gender Pay Gap, EDS2), turning data into insight and action.
  • Lead a team of EDI Facilitators to embed a partnering model with the business to strengthen our approach and equip managers across the organisation to improve metrics.
  • Partner with our Learning and OD team to embed inclusive leadership and training across the organisation.
  • Lead on supporting the Trust's EDI Committee, ensuring strong governance and accountability.
  • Represent KRFT across South West London and London-wide forums, sharing best practice and building partnerships for lasting change.
