Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic Community Healthcare Support Workers for the Night Nursing Team, to provide care and support for patients in the community setting as delegated by the registered nurse.
Access to a motor vehicle is essential , with appropriate driving license. Please ensure that your application demonstrates that you meet the essential criteria as listed in the job specification.
The team operates from 1900-0700 hours, 7 days a week. Shifts are from 1900-midnight and from 19.00-0700 hours
The post will be 15 Hours Per Week - On a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Main duties of the job
To work within the District Night Nursing team to provide care and support for patients in the community setting as delegated by the registered nurse. You will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of nursing care, without direct supervision, and may be required to demonstrate simple procedures to qualified and/or unqualified staff undertaking training where agreed with the nursing team.
