Trust Doctor at CT1/2 level in Surgery - 1 year fixed termA 1 year fixed term vacancy has arisen at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust. The department of Surgery & Urology requires a Trust Doctor at CT1/2 level. The job will include care of inpatients, clinics, theatre and on call responsibilities, and training will be offered equivalent to existing core trainees within the department.
Main duties of the job
The role will be focusing on the provision of care to surgical patients, as well as supporting the surgical on call rota at 1:10.
The majority of our patient services are based at Kingston Hospital; however, outreach clinics are held at a number of community hospitals including Surbiton, Teddington and Molesey hospitals.The CT1-2s and F1/F2 trainees are responsible for the day-to-day care of the patients on the wards and for the ongoing management of patients admitted under their team. CT1-2s are expected to attend day surgery and elective surgical operating lists.
