The post is built around an expected 10 programmed activity (PA) job plan (see job description) and will provide onsite cover in paediatric ED until 10pm in conjunction with members of the wider ED team. The expected job plans will include 8 PAs of DCC activity. Applications will be considered from individuals with a CCT (or within 6 months of CCT date at the time of interview) or with a Certificate of Equivalence of Specialist Registration (CESR).

This post will provide collaborative working with Paediatric Emergency Department services and Paediatric Leadership in providing care for Children in ED. These are new posts created to enhance the patient experience for children coming through ED, improve the quality of paediatric emergency care and provide training and supervision for Junior doctors going through training in ED.
