Job summary
The Patient Pathway Co-ordinator role is a pivotal role to support the administrative and clinical team in the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioner Department to continue to develop this successful service line. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management administrative team, working closely with the Administrative Manager to deliver and develop the service line, as well as successfully co-ordinating the care of patients for the team of orthopaedic physiotherapy practitioners.The post holder will ensure that effective and efficient structures are in place to ensure that standards of patient care are met. The post holder will support the admin manager and service lead in developing efficient and effective patient-centred services and putting in place effective processes for delivering departmental targets, reviewing efficiency and effectiveness of the service.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Patient Pathway coordinators in Orthopaedics as well as the manager supporting the administration services. The ability to deal with multiple issues and operational matters is essential.
