Job summary

An exciting Senior Costing Accountant opportunity has become available in the Income, Costing and Contracts team covering both Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH) and Kingston Hospital Foundation Trust (KHFT).

The post holder will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on the Patient Level Costing (PLICS) models for Service Line Reporting and National Cost Collection exercises.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Trust Patient Level Costing (PLICS) model for Service Line Reporting and National Cost Collection exercises. This will include extensive work on disseminating the information in suitable formats to colleagues at all levels within the Trust. The postholder will be expected to compile both presentations and written / graphical reporting.

The post holder will be a key member of the Service Line Reporting Steering Group and help drive real change in the organization through support to various Productivity and Transformation workstreams.

The role requires to cover all aspects of the Job description across KHFT and HRCH.

The postholder will manage the Costing Accountant, developing Service Line Reporting and other areas of costing for HRCH.

The postholder will support the wider Finance team with expert knowledge of appropriate costing and use of standard cost information.

The post holder will be based at Thames House in Teddington but the role offers agile working arrangements, with approximately 50% office based and 50% working from home. The role may include travel to other sites, including Kingston Hospital.
