Job summary
We are looking foraSenior clinical fellow with competencies equivalent toST5 level in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to join our dynamic team of Speciality Trainees. The post holder will be one of the senior clinical fellows in thedepartment and work on theRegistrar rota with daytime and resident on-call commitments.
The post will ideally suit a candidate who wishes to develop specialist knowledge and skills in managing women with urogynaecology conditions. The 2ndaim of this fellowship programme is integrating the successful fellow into our research and training projects.
The successful fellowshould expect to become surgically proficient in the majority of vaginal prolapse surgery and become experienced in incontinence surgery. They will become proficient in urodynamics and managing all urogynaecology conditions.
We are a district general hospital O&G department with over 5000 deliveries per year, a busy acute gynae service and elective gynaecology. We aim to provide a high quality service for our patients in line with the Trust philosophy of delivering patient care that is Safe, Caring, Responsible and Valued.
