Main duties of the job

  1. Contribute to occupational therapy assessments, including gathering information from families and patients, and supporting with aspects of functional performance assessments.
  2. Deliver clinical interventions which aim to optimise a patient's functional performance, independence and safety.
  3. Complete access and home visits.
  4. Recognise risks and be able to modify approach or intervention to minimise risks.
  5. Report back to qualified Occupational Therapists .
  6. To make suggestions and offer problem solving solutions regarding interventions.
  7. Post holder needs to have their care certificate completed
