Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a district general hospital situated in a beautiful and remarkable part of the country - close to London yet surrounded by royal parks, historic buildings and the River Thames.We are located on a single site in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and run several outpatient clinics in neighbouring areas including Raynes Park Health Centre and Teddington Memorial Hospital.

Main duties of the job
The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for:
- Design of new transformation programmes in close collaboration with relevant clinical leads and senior colleagues.
- Responsible for strategic planning and overall management of the project including management of specific workstreams.
- Organizing the project management structure and workstreams.
- Establishment and ongoing management of relevant stakeholders and working groups.
- Overseeing the full implementation of the projects ensuring delivery against agreed milestones.
- Liaison with ICS providers, clinical leads, GPs, NHSE and other stakeholders.
- Drafting of business cases and external bids to support funding of programmes.
- Leading on the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy relevant to each programme, to ensure key stakeholders are involved and/or informed about the programme as relevant.
The postholder will need to be organised in work and in time management, with excellent attention to detail and able to adapt to changing programme requirements. The postholder will be a reliable team player. The postholder is specifically required to work in a proactive manner, identifying problems and proposing solutions and alternative courses of action.
