Job summary
Administration Manager - Band 5
A substantive opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to lead the administrative team across Physiotherapy. This role would suit someone who is an enthusiastic and forward thinking team leader looking for a challenge in a post that is both interesting and varied. You will play an integral role in the established improvement system within Physio Outpatients by helping to collate data which informs service developments and improvement projects.
The role of Administration Manager will have a strong operational focus, working closely with administration, clinical and service leads to ensure outstanding care is delivered in line with Trust policy and standard operating procedures.

You will learn skills that will equip you to progress in a rewarding career supporting NHS clinical services whilst working towards nationally recognised apprenticeship qualifications.

Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the Physio Outpatient Operational Team Lead, Service Support Manager and clinical Team Leads to ensure effective diary management and that all relevant Key Performance Indicators are met. The role will require you to be customer care focused, have knowledge of handling complaints and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships under pressure.
You will be responsible for the personal development planning and learning needs of staff within the administration teams, as well as providing oversight of Eroster and procurement for the service. Excellent leadership skills and the need to demonstrate ability to remain calm in challenging times are essential.
