Speciality Doctor in ENT 10 PA Job Plan - no on-call (substantive)
We are looking to appoint an innovative and high performing individual to join our well-established and progressive Ear, Nose and Throat Department at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would complement a department of multi-disciplinary professionals, (including advanced audiologist practitioners and voice therapists), who collectively deliver acute and elective ENT services, both general and subspecialty, for all disciplines. The service is delivered as part of the South West London clinical network and we have close links with St George's Hospital and Royal Marsden Hospital where patients receive cancer treatment. Our Audiology department is fully accredited by UKAS under the IQIPS version 2 standard.
Services are mainly delivered from Kingston Hospital where our brand-new purpose-built outpatient department will be opening at the end of this financial year. This incorporates six dual purpose consultation and treatment ENT rooms collocated with radiological procedure and histopathology rooms (for same day FNAs), voice therapy and a full suite of paediatric and adult audiology booths and procedure rooms.
About us
The post offered is a substantive position. The timetable and salary will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate. There is no on-call commitment.
It is essential that you are registered with the General Medical Council (or within 6 months of being admitted to the register).
