Job summary
The Volunteering Recruitment & Training Coordinator is a part time role, part of a job share at 0.6 WTE (22.5hrs) per week for 12 months, reducing to 0.4 WTE (15 hrs) per week thereafter.
This role supports volunteers through a rigorous NHS recruitment process to become skilled and confident volunteers, matched with rewarding volunteering placements across the Trust.
Interview to be held on 08 June 2023.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Volunteering Service Team providing administration and support to the Deputy Head of Volunteering across all aspects of volunteer recruitment, assessment, induction and specialist training for new and established volunteers across the trust.
Responsible for chaperoning volunteers who express their interest in volunteering, you will support people using the TRAC recruitment system to undergo their application, assessment, recruitment checks, induction and specialist training in order to qualify as a Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Volunteer. On a day to day basis you will be communicating with and motivating volunteers to complete the stages of the recruitment process, using the TRAC recruitment system to progress volunteers in their volunteering journey and providing information and support to ensure that volunteers complete mandatory and specialist training.
This post will also administer data for volunteer vacancy management, training and induction.
