Consultant Community CAMHS Psychiatrist
The closing date is 11 May 2026
Job summary
This is a well-established post but has been vacant due to the previous consultant leaving the organisation. This is funded as eight Programmed Activities (10 PAs) post with 7.5 Direct Clinical Contact activities (DCC) and 2.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs). The post is currently filled by a locum doctor due. It is a substantive post and we would consider requests for flexible working, job share or fixed term if preferred.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Harlow and West Essex. The service is provided by one team with one management structure, but due to the size of the area covered it is spread across two main bases.
