Clinical Lead Barking and Dagenham Mental Health & Wellness Team

Job summary

The opportunity has arisen for 2 clinical leads (Band 7) to join the Barking and Dagenham Mental Health and Wellness teams (West and North).

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with at least three years post qualifying experience in a mental health setting. The post holder will deputise for the team manager and be able to autonomously oversee clinical systems and staff. It is essential that applicants have excellent organisational skills and are competent with using computer programmes and databases.

Main duties of the job

Experience of undertaking assessment of complex case, including risk formulation .

Experience of undertaking complex evidence based interventions that manage high risk.

Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills working with service users and staff within a demanding multi-disciplinary environment.

Ability to provide clinical supervision and undertake appraisal and performance reviews with staff.

Able to deputise for the team manager and work autonomously when appropriate.The B&D Mental Health Teams are evolving into the mental Health and Wellness Team in the Community Mental health Transformation. The focus is very much on a team approach with ensuring co production with service users.
