Qualifications needed:

Full GMC Registration with a license to practice

Mastery in the management of a broad range of physical health conditions in babies, children, and young people, including neurodevelopmental disorders

At least 4 years post graduate training including community paediatrics (or demonstrate equivalent experience and competences).

Knowledge and training in Child safeguarding

Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training.

We are currently recruiting to a Community Paediatrics Specialty Doctor position in the Barking and Dagenham Specialist Children Service, based at 79 Axe Street, Barking, IG11 7L. This is an established post and is a substantive, full-time role. It is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to it as soon as possible.

You will join 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 1wte Specialist Grade Doctor, another 1wte Specialist Doctor, and 2wte Core Trainee within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
