Redbridge Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)has an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified professional to step into a role joining a diverse and experienced team. We are a friendly and innovative team that cover the London Borough of Redbridge .

Main duties of the job
Working as a Practitioners in Redbridge CAMHS you would have a high standard of CAMHS knowledge and experience of working with young people who are experiencing a range of mental health presentations.
We are looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about ensuring there are robust and informative assessments in place for your Young people and their families and are committed to collaborative working across the Borough and utilizing the skills experience ad contribution of delivery partners across Health, Education and Social Care to ensure our young people are well looked after and are empowered to meet their potential.
We are looking for Leaders in practice who can steer and support in the therapeutic approaches available from within NELFT and in the Community- Leaders who can support Young People with time sensitive, and compassionate assessments with appropriate escalation to the medical team as required.

High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436) pro rata for part time staff.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

To prioritising own day to day workload.
To offer support and clinical advice and guidance to more junior staff
To undertake assessments of children and their familys mental health and wellbeing needs. This will include telephone consolation and face to face meetings.
To offer brief intervention/ advice and guidance to children and their families as appropriate.
To ensure all children are assessed in a timely manner in line with local and nation targets
