Nursing Associate Band 4

We are welcoming applicants for band 4 Nursing Associates

Come and work in Redbridge.

This role will be supporting the existing integrated care agenda which consists of Community Nurses, Physio, OT's, Community matrons, Social workers and the Mental Health Team . Participation in an MDT, supporting improving care in care homes

The post is 08.30-5.00 Monday to Sunday and will involve all basic nursing task in patient's own home and in care home. The ability to travel quickly and freely within Redbridge is essential. Car Driver is desirable

Main duties of the job

You will be working with a diverse community enabling you to develop knowledge and skills around differing cultural perspectives whilst delivering nursing care. We work in patients own homes and residential care homes . Our patients are over the age of 18 with a predominant physical nursing need.

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436).

The ideal candidate must be a registered nurse associate, registered with the NMC and will work as a member of the Integrated Community team, working within and across professional and organisational boundaries. Liaising with GPs, other professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies, he/she will deliver individualised care to patients under the supervision of the Senior Nurse.
