Job summary

We are looking for Temporary Staffing Booking Assistant for a permanent role on 22.5 hours per week.

The core business hours for the team are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. The individual will work a mix of 8am-4pm and 10am-6pm shifts.

This role is based at Basildon at Phoenix House and home working for hybrid working.

Must be able to cover 8am start / 6pm finish

Main duties of the job

The vacancies have a core focus on providing a full and comprehensive To assist the Temporary Staffing Bookings and Reporting Manager, in providing a full and comprehensive Temporary Staffing service to the organisation and external clients, covering all aspects of the request and booking process for internal and external temporary staffing.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with temporary staff, managers. Clinical and non-clinical leads, to ensure that managers and candidates are informed at all stages of the Temporary Staffing request process.

Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and propose changes to working practices as appropriate to improve service delivery. Ensuring an optimum number of suitably qualified and experienced temporary staff are available to support permanent staff as and when required.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 p.a. pro rata for part time).
