Job summary

Full/part time Band 3 senior health care assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health Care Assistant to work within our Integrated Community Team in Basildon and Wickford.

You will play a pivotal role in assisting the clinical staff with the delivery of high quality health care to service users in their own homes across the Basildon and Wickford area.

Main duties of the job

Training will be provided and as a team we are keen to develop staff and identify any learning needs through our robust appraisal system. We actively support continued professional development and welcome staff to contact us prior to applying for the role.

Ability to travel between sites is essential.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,192 and a maximum payment of £2,011 per annum pro rata).
