Qualifications needed:

  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it

We are currently recruiting to an Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist position at Woodbury Unit, based at James Lane, Leytonstone, E11 1NR

You will join a 0.5wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core/GP Trainee, 1wte Foundation Year Trainee, and 0.5wte Physician Associate within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with older adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals
