Job summary
We are seeking a motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and passionate team working in the Thurrock area covering a community caseload. This is a proactive role which includes blocks of therapy (including Maes), hydrotherapy, pilates groups and mechanical horse therapy.
CPD is actively encouraged in this post and funds are available for external training. Staff receive reflective team sessions and mindfulness sessions, team away days, regular in-service training and staff wellbeing is extremely important.
Main duties of the job
We have a vacancy for a Children's Community Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team in Children's Integrated Therapy Service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist keen to develop their knowledge and skills in children's physiotherapy. We work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team including community paediatricians, occupational therapists, nursery nurses and speech and language therapists.
We are looking to recruit a HCPC registered Physiotherapist, who has relevant post graduate experience within community or neurological services; paediatric experience would be beneficial.
Assessment and intervention are delivered in various settings including clinic, the child's home, special schools, mainstream schools and nurseries, community settings, as well as virtually.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,192 and a maximum payment of £2,011 per annum pro rata).
