Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our team as a Mobile Telecoms Engineer, working within the NELFT Healthcare Informatics Telecoms team. The successful candidatewill work closely with the Project Manager, Project Lead, Telecoms Manager, 3rd parties and service userswith a key focus on delivering the Smartphone Upgrade Project.

The post is a 12 month FTC There is an expectation for some travel around Localities with in NELFT.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will:

  • Be working alongside other project team members, the Telecoms Team, service users and other stakeholders to deliver the Smartphone Upgrade Project across NELFT.
  • Serve as a technical resource responsible for utilising the Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment to provision, deploy, manage, and support corporate mobile devices.
  • Be dealing with incoming customer and supplier queries via face-to-face, telephone and the ICT support call system.
  • Support the administration and operational controlling of mobile telecommunications and services along with the development of all associated communications, including standard mobile phones, smart-phones and tablets.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,108 to a maximum of £5,177).
