Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join the evolving 360 Wellbeing and Psychological Resilience Hub, otherwise known as the KeepingWellNEL programme!

The KeepingWellNEL Communications Assistant will support engaging health and social care staff across north east London via the delivery of content for digital, social, marketing and communications channels, working closely with the Communications and Engagement workstream.KeepingWellNEL was set up to as part of an NHS expansion to provide enhanced health, wellbeing and psychological resilience support, for all health and social care staff in the northeast London ICS footprint.

We provide a safe and confidential listening service, assessment, signposting, care navigation support for our culturally diverse workforce via live chat, SMS, telephone or by accessing information on the website or by supporting organisations and line managers.

Main duties of the job

We aim to ensure KeepingWellNEL is not only helpful for all our staff, but relevant and culturally cohesive. We believe that breaking down stigma around asking for help is vital in maintaining our wellbeing. This is a core focus for our team, and we aim to listen and shine a light on the aspects of wellbeing that our team and colleagues identify as important.

  • To support with the management of the KeepingWellNEL social media channels
  • To coordinate and support the annual calendar of national awareness events
  • To provide support at in person and virtual events
  • To support with the design and content for website, marketing publications, social media and other communications outputs

Probationary PeriodThis post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.High Cost Area Supplement - LondonThis post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata).

To monitor and respond to queries submitted to the KWNEL communicationsinbox/channels on a daily basis and to set up rotas to cover the inbox during periods ofannual leave/ absence.2. To make updates to the KWNEL website as requested including the uploading ofdocuments and changes to copy requested by managers.3. To make updates to the NHS intranets as requested.4. To provide administrative support across the workstream as requested including theadministration of mail outs and event support.5 To seek quotes from external suppliers for goods and services to support the day today activities of the communications workstream and to liaise with team admin to raiserequisitions for these.6. To provide in person and virtual event support and administration for a range of wellbeingevents. This may include being available to support events, man information stands.7. Support with the KWNEL weekly news bulletin.8. Support with the maintenance of KWNELs customer relationship management system.9.
