Job summary
Please note: this vacancy may close earlier than advertised once a suitable number of applications have been received.
We are seeking two enthusiastic and committed graduates to join our Trust as a Band 5 Gastroenterology Assistant Psychologist. You will be involved in a range of activities, primarily conducting assessments, brief interventions, and providing support for patients admitted to the hospital wards with alcohol-related problems, also data collection and analysis.

You will be working alongside a busy multi-disciplinary team and will be accountable to a Consultant Gastroenterologist and receive remote clinical supervision from a Clinical Psychologist.
The post will be based on the sites of the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, predominantly Hillingdon site and CNWL sites predominantly Addiction Recovery Community Hillingdon (ARCH), Uxbridge. The post will be for 9 months and extendable subject to individual review.
Interview date to be confirmed.

- Practice autonomously and be self-directed, with appropriate supervision.
- To participate in clinical governance and utilise research skills for audit, service development and research within the area served.
- Draw on a diverse range of knowledge in their decision making to determine evidence based therapeutic interventions.
