This post presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic and highly regarded Elderly Medicine department. Our department has an excellent track record in service development, transformation, and integrated working across departments and across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for managing 14 inpatients on one of our general Elderly Medicine wards (Franklin ward). Franklin ward is a 28 bedded ward and the post holder will manage the ward jointly with another consultant colleague. There is also dedicated time within the job plan to cover their colleague on Franklin ward, and a further colleague on a separate Elderly Medicine ward (Hayes ward). The post holder will also do a weekly falls clinic on our Mount Vernon site.

Proven teaching experience ? Experience of clinical audit and enable delivery of good practice ? Evidence of quality and service improvement
