SPA time includes: professional development; clinical supervision; departmental and governance meetings; service development; guidelines, audit/QI; management/investigation of incidents and complaints. Exact proportions/additional SPA roles discussed in team job planning. Opportunities exist to increase paid work beyond 9PA via additional DCC/SPA roles, e.g. educational supervisor (0.25PA per trainee).

Our department is proud of the care we give our young patients. Trainees appreciate the support and team working that embody Hillingdon paediatrics. We look forward to welcoming new colleagues to our team.
