Senior Service Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Service Manager to join our team within the Planned Care Division at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside clinical and non-clinical staff as a key member of the Service Management Team within the Planned Care Division.
You will be responsible for the operational management of the services within your portfolio, namely Maternity & Gynaecology, providing excellent leadership to drive change and improve care, developing new ways of working to support effective and efficient service provision. You will lead the delivery of NHS constitutional access standards for services within your portfolio and will support the leadership team to deliver the National Maternity standards.
This role includes participation in the silver on-call rota for the Trust for which training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Service Manager will have lead responsibility for the day-to-day management of all operational issues within a defined clinical service. They will have to ensure the effective delivery of services to patients in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. The post holder will be expected to supportthe services in the delivery of Trust objectives and ensuring national targets are achieved.
The post holder will be involved within the Maternity service's quadrumvirate leadership team through collaborating and engaging on all quality, workforce & operational aspects within the service.
The post holder will support the Divisional Director of Operations with the delivery of the Trust strategy and will ensure service changes meet internal and external expectations and standards.
The post holder will need to understand the business requirements and implement plans for service improvement using modernisation techniques and involve patients to ensurechanges order to services meet patients' expectations as well as ensuring the required capacity to meet key clinical performance targets.
Participation in the silver on-call rota for the Trust.
