EDUCATION CENTRE, THE HILLINGDON HOSPITAL
THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARY 2024 - 10am to 3pm
Positions available are full time only and you must be available to work all shift patterns required including weekends and nights
We have a variety of exciting opportunities for experienced Health Care Assistants across The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals, with experience, who would enjoy the challenge of working as a health care assistant in an acute setting. The role is to provide support to the trained nurses in caring for patients.

Main duties of the job
The role requirements include:
- Assisting registered nurse/professional in the delivery of patient care.
- Maintaining high standards to ensure infection control standards are met.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and caring skills
- Assisting patients' hygiene and toileting
- Feeding Patients
- Assisting with mobility. Able to do manual handling.
Successful applicants will have access to a wide range of training and development opportunities which will be available in house.
- You will attend the Essential Care Certificate and associated qualifications which will be achieved within 6 months of starting in your role.
- Candidates will be supported to complete all 15 standards within the Induction Care Certificate and associated workbook.
Posts are based at Hillingdon Hospital with limited posts available at our Mount Vernon site.

The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
