Job summary

This is an exciting opportunityfor the successful applicant whowill play a key role in realising our ambition to build a high quality clinical service by bringing new skills to our Dermatology service. The successful applicant will be a committed clinician with subspecialist interest/training in Mohs surgery and a track record of excellent clinical service delivery, service improvement, teaching, training and other qualities as identified in the person specification.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should have MRCP or equivalent and CCT certification in Dermatology or be within 6 months of obtaining their CCT.

The Hillingdon Hospital is a District General Hospital, located in West London, serving a population of over 300,000 people in the Borough of Hillingdon. It has 620 beds and it incorporates General Medicine, Care of the Elderly, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Mental Health and has a very busy Accident and Emergency Department. Hillingdon is situated within the M25, only 18 miles away from central London and within easy reach of the main motorway networks and major airports.

The Hillingdon Hospital has merged its acute services with Mount Vernon Hospital with inpatient acute medical services located at the Hillingdon site while maintaining medical outpatient clinics, day care and elderly rehabilitation at Mount Vernon.
