1 day per week release from work for college attendance

Salary: £17,035 plus £4,313 HCAA per annum pro rata

To assist in the maintenance duties to maintain Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust sites which include Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.

This includes various internal and external building fabric maintenance, plumbing, heating and ventilation maintenance and electrical maintenance.

Provide support to experienced Tradesmen within the Estates Maintenance Team and will be shadowing and assisting within their day to day duties

Main duties of the job

Carry out and assist with a wide range of Estates maintenance work to agreed standards. This includes:

• Painting and decorating tasks.
• Plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Electrical testing and repairs.
• Carry out internal and external building fabric maintenance.
• Understand and maintain heating ventilation and air conditioning.
• Understand and maintain high levels of water hygiene within a building.
• Understand energy, environment and sustainable practices within property maintenance.
• Complete electronic work orders in all aspects of Estates maintenance which includes reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Meet the Trust's performance target for attending to and completing work orders within the time frame allocated (SLA).

Responding to and completing work orders within the time frame allocated and meeting the Trust's customer service standards and expectations.

Competent with use of a PDA for opening (starting) and closing (completing/signing off) work orders electronically.
