Main duties of the job

Our Facilities department provide a range of vital support services across the Hospital including cleaning, portering and housekeeping 24/7. We are now recruiting domestic assistants to join our friendly and professional team at Hillingdon Hospital.

Our domestic team take pride in ensuring all areas of the hospital meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all patient, visitor and staff areas. For these positions it is desirable to have previous cleaning experience but not essential, we can provide full training. You will however need to have:

• good communication skills both written and verbal
• be able to demonstrate good customer service skills

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics, and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
