Complaints/PALS Administrator

Job summary

Patient Advice and Liaison is a service that offers on-the-spot help, advice, information and support to patients, relatives and carers.

If however someone remains dissatisfied with their initial response, or wishes to make a formal complaint, the Complaints Management Unit will then manage the process.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an individual with excellent and effective communication skills as you will be liaising with the public and staff alike at all levels supporting both the Patient Advice and Liaison Service, including reception duties and the Complaints Management Unit.

Good organisational skills are also vital in prioritising the varied tasks and responsibilities of both services. You must also be flexible to work across Mount Vernon and Hillingdon sites.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
