Staff Nurse - Stroke Unit

Job summary

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated registered nurse to join this busy and rewarding department.

You must have a positive outlook to work and the ability to inspire and support others. You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with a wide ranging Multidisciplinary team. You will be key to ensuring that high standards of patient care are maintained.

Main duties of the job

Job Summary:1. Participate in all ward activities as an effective team member, supportingthe Senior Sister/Charge Nurse and Sister, taking delegated teamleadership responsibilities.2. To assess care needs, and the development, implementation andevaluation of programmes of care, in collaboration with themultidisciplinary team.3. To teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and to act as a rolemodel to junior staff.4. To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients
