The Pharmacy Department provides a reliable quality patient centred service with empathy, enthusiasm and commitment. The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an acute and specialist services provider in North West London situated south of Uxbridge and near to Heathrow Airport. It is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon, delivering high quality healthcare to a local community. The Trust offers a wide range of services including a busy Accident and Emergency, maternity, intensive care, inpatients, day surgery and outpatient clinics.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be an experienced registered Pharmacy Technician who will proactivelyundertake technical and operational duties in the Pharmacy Department and on the wards. He/shewill1. Work independently and to a high level of technical competency, within departmental policiesand procedures and identify and refer difficult situations to more senior members of staff.2. Deal with conflicting pressures of work within each section of the rotation and make decisionsto prioritise work when required to do so.

The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
