Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join our Outpatient Dental Service as a Band 5 Dental Nurse. The post holder will be required to maintain a high standard of chair-side care, in keeping with local policies and procedures, and liaise with other members of the team in order to maintain the quality service provided by the department. In addition, the post holder will be expected to organise and run clinics under the direction of the departmental nurse-in-charge.

Our Outpatient Dental Service is a busy and friendly place to work. Our local patient surveys and friends and family tests praise our staff as being caring, professional, and welcoming. Our focus is on providing an exceptional patient experience, delivering excellent customer care to patients and their families. We aim to see patients within 30-minutes of their appointment time and, if this is not possible, clinic staff have to communicate any delays to patients.

Working with us will also offer the opportunity to develop skills in customer care, working within a multidisciplinary team and with a multicultural patient group.

An interview date is yet to be confirmed.

  • Assist surgeons with all minor surgery and any other procedures which may be carried out.
