Library Services Manager

Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our Medical Education Team at Hillingdon Hospital to run our Library Services.

We have roughly 3,500 staff with students visiting us from Imperial College London, Brunel University, Bucks New University and the University of West London.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder is responsible for the strategic development, organisation, management and delivery of knowledge & library services, providing a service that will support all employees of the Trust and other designated users in their delivery of high quality health care to patients and their education, training and research needs.

The post-holder will manage the Library Team and be responsible for budgetary control.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics, and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
